Another Bulldozer Attack in Jerusalem: 23 Wounded

This is the second time in less than three weeks that an Arab-Muslim construction worker in Israel has manipulated his work situation (by utilizing a bulldozer) to kill Jews. It is shameful that Arab-Israelis who receive the same rights as all Israelis would engage in terrorism against civilians of Israel.

Arutz 7 reports:
For the second time in three weeks, an Arab commandeered a bulldozer to commit a terrorist attack in Jerusalem. He wounded several people before being shot and killed.

The terrorist began his attempt to murder Jews on King David St. near the Yemin Moshe neighborhood. He took a tractor from a construction site, and began plowing into vehicles along the street, hitting at least three cars - one of which he completely overturned - and a bus. One driver was able to escape from his car even though the tractor plowed it into a bus stop. When the terrorist reached the intersection of Keren HaYesod St., a citizen and Border Guard policeman shot and killed him. The entire incident was over very quickly, eyewitnesses said.

Less than three weeks ago, an Arab from eastern Jerusalem killed three people in a similar attack before he was himself killed by a heroic yeshiva student/soldier. The tractor used in today's attack was smaller than the one used in the previous one.

Of the 23 injured, one is reported in moderate condition - apparently with an amputated leg - and the others have light injuries or are suffering from trauma. Among them are a woman and her nine-month-old baby son.

Gag-Order on Terrorist's Name
The dead tractor terrorist was an Israeli citizen, living in Um Tuba, a south-eastern Jerusalem Arab neighborhood not far from Sur Baher. His name was publicized over the radio, and minutes later, a gag order prohibiting it from being disseminated was publicized - apparently because of his family connections with a an orange-bearded Hamas legislator who has been jailed for involvement in terrorism.

Moshe Feiglin, leader of the Likud's Manhigut Yehudit faction, was an eyewitness to the attack. He told Voice of Israel Radio that his first impression of the attack was the tractor-shovel attempting to drop down upon a passerby. "At first I thought it was some kind of accident, but very quickly we realized that it was an attack. Thank G-d, it ended very quickly, because of the alertness of passersby who shot him - I saw a man I know from the southern Judea community of Susia, but he was the first one to shoot the terrorist, and then the Border Guard policeman came and finished the story."

The man who first shot the terrorist was later announced to be Yaki Asael, 56, father of eight, from Susia.

"We have long called for a policy of not hiring Arabs in construction," said Shifra Hoffman of Victims of Arab Terror. "We hold the government guilty of this attack for not implementing this policy."

Neturei Karta: fringe group with close ties to the late Yasser Arafat and PLO is popular among Muslim Student Associations

Discoverthenetworks.org discusses Neturei Karta, a fringe group that bases their entire ideology off one sentence from the Hebrew Bible. Neturei Karta supports terrorists like the late Yasser Arafat and has received funding from the PLO for their "activities" and participation in programs:
Neturei Karta (NK), Aramaic for "Guardians of the City," is a group which holds that Israel's existence is "contrary to Jewish law." According to NK, God punished the Jews with exile for their indiscretions, and consequently they are forbidden to establish a Jewish state in the holy land before the coming of the Messiah.

NK was founded in Jerusalem in 1938 when it broke away from a ultra-orthodox group, Agudas Yisorel, over the question of Zionism. Contrary to NK's claim that it represents several hundred thousand orthodox Jews throughout the world, informed estimates place NK membership at no more than 5,000 people.

Declares NK: "Among its [Zionism's] fruits are the persecution of the Palestinian people and the spiritual and physical endangering of the Jewish people"; "[Zionism] encourages treasonous, dual loyalty among unsuspecting Jews throughout the world"; and "The so-called 'state of Israel' stands rejected on religious grounds by the Torah."

A prominent NK member, Dovid Weiss, summarizes his organization's creed as follows:

"Zionism, from its inception, advocated and urged cruelty towards the Palestinian people. ... Zionism advocates and executes war against all nations. ... Zionism sadistically abuses [the poor and suffering]. ... There is no excuse for the Zionist takeover of the Holy Land. It was achieved only after a series of wars and incessant brutality. ... The Palestinian people have graciously agreed to participate in a so-called peace process with the Israeli government. That is most kind of them. However, we must warn them that it is our belief that until the scourge of Zionism, incarnated in the state of Israel, is removed from the Middle East there can be no peace. We are a people in exile. We are forbidden to attempt to reconquer the Holy Land. ... We call for a peaceful dismantling of the Israeli state without violence or bloodshed. ... We look forward to the day when Jews and Palestinians may live together under a Palestinian government."

In its effort to bring about Israel's destruction, NK cooperates with frankly anti-Semitic groups such as the Nation of Islam (NOI). At the invitation of Louis Farrakhan, Weiss spoke at the NOI annual convention in 2000, where he denounced Zionism and the Jewish state.

NK also had close ties to the late Yasser Arafat and the Palestine Liberation Organization. After NK members flew to Paris to show support for the hospitalized Arafat in 2002, the Orthodox and Hasidic community literally excommunicated the organization:

“[W]e hereby reiterate and declare that hareidi/hassidic/Orthodox Jews everywhere absolutely reject the treacherous and contemptible conduct of that insignificant and irrelevant group of misfits and Mechalelei Hashem [desecraters of G-d's Name], who have again raised their ugly heads and besmirched and blackened the reputations of observant Jews worldwide.… [T]his contemptible and minuscule gang of traitors to Judaism were decades ago barred from our Synagogues and communities. Their refusal to abide by the pronouncements of religious and lay leaders of our communities has made them persona non grata.”

Among the many documents later seized in Arafat's compound by the Israeli Defense Forces were allotments of money from Arafat to Neturei Karta's "foreign minister," Moshe Hirsch. The money amounted to $55,000, which had been paid over a two-month period for "expenses for activities."

Hirsch, NK's leader in Israel, today works closely with the Palestinian Authority (PA) and holds a position as its Minister of Jewish Affairs. He staged a graveside memorial service for Arafat in the West Bank shortly after the Palestinian leader's death in November 2004.

NK spoke at the infamous 2001 UN Conference Against Racism (in Durban), an event which degenerated into an anti-Jewish, anti-Israel hate fest. The group also attended the “Peace in Palestine” Conference in Malaysia in March 2005, and supported the resolution calling for a worldwide boycott of Israel.

In December 2006, eight Neturei Karta rabbis traveled to Tehran to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, a Holocaust denier, embracing him and endorsing his stance that Israel has no right to exist. "We tried to appease them [the Iranians]," Rabbi Dovid Weiss told the New York Daily News. "We explained how the Holocaust is used to intimidate people who want to speak against the unjust Zionist regime."

This was not Neturei Karta's first visit to Tehran. In March 2006 the organization had also sent a delegation to meet with senior Iranian officials and express support for Ahmadinejad's calls to eliminate Israel. In a statement to Iran's official IRIB radio, the group called for "the disintegration of the Zionist regime" and said that it "is a dangerous deviation to pretend that the Iranian president is an anti-Jewish or anti-Semitic personality." Neturei Karta added that it was "upset about the recent ploys, propaganda and tensions which have been created by the West regarding the statements of the Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad about a world free of Zionism, since this is nothing more than wishing for a better world dominated by peace and calm."

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad calling for the annihilation of Israel (not peace) and destruction of all those who live there:

Ahmadinejad promises to continue nuclear activities following "Death to America" chants:

Jim Lafferty: Pro-terror MSU aligning itself with socialists

(Right to Left: James Lafferty, unidentified, unidentified, Che Guevara)

Gary Fouse posted the following useful information which clearly demonstrates the alliances that theatrical and academically dishonest groups like the Muslim Student Union or Muslim Student Association make to further a reprehensible cause which supports terrorism:
During last quarter's Muslim Student Union week-long events at UC-Irvine (May 2008), one of their sponsored speakers was James Lafferty, Executive Director of the National Lawyers Guild, Los Angeles Chapter. Lafferty's appearance may have been lost in the shuffle of speakers since more flamboyant figures were on the schedule, such as Amir Abdel Malik Ali. Yet, Lafferty's presence at this event should not escape notice. It shows that once again, the MSU's choice of associates and speakers is open to question.

The National Lawyers Guild (NLG)was founded in 1937. According to "Discover the Networks.org", NLG's earliest predecessor organization was MOPR, a Russian acronym for International Class War Prisoners Aid Society, founded in 1922 under the auspices of the Communist International (Comintern). The NLG (according to Discover the Networks.org) was founded in 1937 by attorneys for the Communist Party USA. During the period of the Cold War, the organization consistently allied itself with the pro-Soviet agenda. It labels itself as a "progressive" legal body of lawyers and activists that involves itself in issues of civil rights, human rights, etc. On the surface, its agenda, when taken in a general context (civil-human rights), might appear laudable.

Yet, the organization over the years has allied itself with virtually every far left-wing cause imaginable-anything that would paint the US in a bad light is fertile ground for this group. Indeed, over the years, their critics have understandably accused them of being little more than a communist front group.

In recent years, this group has taken up the banner for people like Lynne Stewart, the convicted attorney for the "Blind Sheikh", Omar Abdul Rahman who passed terrorist communications from Rahman to his terrorist associates and Jamal Abu Mumia, the convicted Philadelphia cop killer on death row, Sami al-Arian, ex-terrorist fugitive Sara Jane Olsen and Leonard Peltier of the American Indian Movement (AIM), who was imprisoned for the murder of two FBI agents. In 2005, the Guild floated a resolution equating Zionism with racism.

Quite a record. In Lafferty, this is another example of what UCI's Muslim Student Union brings to our campus as a featured speaker.

During his UCI speech (in which I was present), Lafferty went through the usual litany of complaints, condemning Israel, the US Government and the Bush Administration for all the problems of the world. In answer to a question about the solution to the Middle East problems, he stated that "Jews should leave Palestine."

He also made this rather ominous statement: He said that just prior to his talk, someone (presumably at UCI) had informed him that there was not a level playing field at UCI for those expressing their opinions about the (Israel-Palestinian) issue. He then added that he and his organization were going to see what they could do to provide such a level playing field. (I am paraphrasing.)

So here we have yet another example of how the MSU aligns itself with radical, far-left and anti-American voices. As they say, you are known by the friends you keep. Nevertheless, the MSU will still complain and wonder why so many Americans view them with suspicion. Maybe the National Lawyers Guild and CAIR can file a lawsuit on behalf of the MSU forcing Americans not to view them with so much suspicion.

A celebration of evil in the Islamic world: Muslims celebrate return of bloody terrorists and vicious child killer

Samir Kuntar, a vicious terrorist who is famous for smashing the skull of a 4-year-old Israeli child, will return to his people as a hero. The disregard for human life that exists among Islamists in the Arab world, this pure evil, is the enemy we're up against.

Israel is mourning the loss of two beloved heroes. The Islamic world is celebrating a child killer's return, a terrorist who has vowed to return to killing more Jews.

Hezbollah, Iran's proxy, also allegedly released information about Ron Arad, an Israeli Air Force navigator who was captured by Muslim terrorists in 1986. However, Hezbollah has released incomplete and fraudulent information that was deemed unacceptable by government and intelligence officials, as well as the German mediator Gerhard Conrad. The fate of Arad is still unknown.

The transfer of Kuntar and four Hezbollah POWs to Lebanon is complete. Here's the latest from the J-Post:
Convicted murderer Samir Kuntar and four Hizbullah POWs arrived in Lebanon late Wednesday afternoon, hours after the bodies of kidnapped IDF reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser returned to Israel.

The five Lebanese terrorists were transferred to Lebanon after the IDF positively identified the bodies of Regev and Goldwasser.

OC Human Resources Maj.-Gen. Elazar Stern and OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Gadi Shamni arrived at the Regev and Goldwasser homes to notify the families.
The bodies were making their way to Shraga base, south of Nahariya, where the families were expected to arrive to be alone with the remains of their loved ones. Defense Minister Ehud Barak will be arriving at the base to meet with the families, and later in the day, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will hold a closed meeting with them, as well.

Late Wednesday it was announced that both reservists will have military funerals on Thursday: Goldwasser at 10:00 a.m. in Nahariya, Regev at 2:00 p.m. in Haifa.

Military sources said the identification process took several hours, due to the deteriorated state of the soldiers' bodies. Earlier Wednesday the Red Cross transferred two coffins to Israel, containing the remains of Regev and Goldwasser.

The two soldiers were posthumously promoted to the rank of first staff sergeant, the army announced.

Before the identification process could begin, sappers inspected the coffins to ensure that they were not booby trapped.

Meanwhile, a truck carrying 19 bodies of Lebanese terrorists passed the Rosh Hanikra border crossing into Lebanon, the first of many such trucks expected on Wednesday.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the long-anticipated exchange got underway as Kuntar and four Hizbullah operatives captured during the Second Lebanon War were driven from Hadarim prison near Netanya to an IDF base in the North.

23 Red Cross trucks containing the bodies of 185 Lebanese and Palestinian combatants drove from a cemetery near Kibbutz Amiad to Rosh Hanikra, where they prepared to drive to Lebanon in the final stage of the deal.

As Sabiqun: Blatant Terror Support on Campus

Founded in the early 1990s by Imam Abdul Alim Musa, As-Sabiqun (whose name means "The Vanguard" in Arabic) is a Sunni endeavor that seeks, through "an organized Islamic movement," to establish Islam "as a complete way of life in America" -- "in total, complete, and uncompromised service of Allah."

This movement works closely with Muslim Student Associations and Muslim Student Unions across the country.

I had a revealing discussion with the first speaker, imam Musa, who is featured in the video. After his talk during the May 2007 antisemitic and anti-Israel event he spoke at, he told me all Jews should go back to Germany or Poland. So I asked him what I should do as my heritage is exclusively Middle Eastern. It shut him up. My parents are Jews with roots in Iraq, Syria, and Ethiopia. There are a whopping 6 Jews left in Iraq and zero in Syria. What should Middle Eastern Jews like me do? They comprise more than half of Israel today and left "Islamic" lands because of extreme persecution against them. The bigoted and hateful nature of the Muslim Student Union is especially evident as they repeatedly host As Sabiqun speakers who voice their conspiracy theories, support for terror, and hatred against Jews.

FACT: Israel is less than 1% of the Middle East... and about the size of New Jersey.

Palestinian terrorist screams "Allahu Akbar" as he rams bulldozer into pedestrians, cars and packed buses in Jerusalem, Israel

JERUSALEM (July 2) - A Palestinian laborer driving a construction vehicle rammed into packed buses, tossed cars into the air and rolled over pedestrians in a deadly rampage Wednesday that killed three people and wounded dozens in Jerusalem, Israel.

The following is an account of the brave civilian/soldier who was able to stop the terrorist from killing more innocent civilians:
He was a soldier home on leave, riding his bike down Jaffa Road on Wednesday when he spotted the overturned No. 13 bus and a massive bulldozer tearing through the streets of Jerusalem. Realizing that the Arab behind the wheel was in the midst of a terror rampage, "M" (his identity and unit are barred from publication by a court order) threw his bike to the side of the road and began to chase the bulldozer.

Speaking with reporters several hours after the attack, M recalled the sequence of events that led to his courageous action.

As he began running toward the bulldozer, M said, he shouted to onlookers, asking for a gun. Together with a civilian, M climbed aboard the bulldozer and began wrestling with the driver.

"At one point he yelled out, 'Allahu Akbar,' and stepped on the gas pedal," M recalled. "I drew the weapon of the civilian who was with me and shot the driver three times in the head. I think I did what is expected from every soldier and citizen."
This civilian/soldier's quick thinking and actions likely saved many lives:

Moshe can be seen in a blue shirt, outside the bulldozer cabin, in many of the videos of the attack being circulated.

Oron Ben-Shimon, a security guard at the nearby Kupat Cholim Leumit office, also took part in the save. He said that when he saw the shovel of the bulldozer mowing things down, "I ran towards it. When I got there, the bulldozer was stopped, I got up on it - Moshe helped me - and we tried to stop the driver, who looked like he was fainted on the steering wheel. But then he suddenly got up and started the bulldozer going again. I couldn't get to my gun, and also the policeman was in between me and the terrorist - so I punched him [the terrorist] and that stunned him... Then Moshe - who really deserves all credit; of all the people there, he was the one who responded the most correctly - quickly realized what was happening, and took the gun from my holster and shot the terrorist three times in the head. Then a Yassam policeman got on board, shot another bullet, and that was it."

MSU strongly involved with movement which seeks to "enable Islam to take complete control...of the lives of all human beings on Earth.”

Abdul Alim Musa and Amir Abdel Malik Ali, two radical imams, are no strangers to UC Irvine where they regularly spread their seething hatred of America, Israel and Jews on behalf of the Muslim Student Union (MSU). These speakers are involved with the As-Sabiqun movement which aims for Islamic revivalism and enabling Islam to take "complete control of ... the lives of all human beings on Earth." Below is information about both speakers and the radical and hateful As-Sabiqun movement.

DiscovertheNetworks.org includes the following information about Musa:
Imam Abdul Alim Musa is the founder and director of the As-Sabiqun movement, which aims to “enable Islam to take complete control of … the lives of all human beings on Earth.” He serves as director of Masjid Al-Islam in Washington, DC, and is a senior member of the Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought (ICIT) -- a pro-Iranian, pro-Hezbollah, Islamist think tank. Musa also sits on the governing body of the Muslim Alliance of North America, which is headed by Siraj Wahhaj. In addition, Musa is a frequent speaker on American college campuses, often at the invitation of the Muslim Student Union and chapters of the Muslim Students Association. In 2004 the San Francisco Bay View described Musa as “one of the highest-ranking Islamic leaders in the Black community, nationwide and specifically in the Islamic movement.”

Two days before 9/11 -- at a September 9, 2001 fundraiser at UC Irvine on behalf of the cop-killer Jamil Al-Amin -- Musa said:

“Imam Jamil coined a phrase, and that phrase meant this: ‘If you don't give us justice. If you don't give us equality. If you don't give us our share of America. If you don't stay out of our way and leave us alone, we’re gonna burn America down.”

During a May 9, 2007 “Islamic Revival” event at UC Irvine Musa discussed his belief that the U.S. carried out the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon:

“When you hear about some bomber that blew up the World Trade Center or blew up this or blew up that, I'm telling you brothers and sisters, that is your CIA. That is your government blowing up people, blaming it on us … Didn't Adolph Hitler burn the Reichstag, blame it on the people and he became the Fuhrer and what happened? He could suspend civil liberties. And he could wipe out and he could war against all of his enemies. That's what Adolph Hitler did, isn't that right? He burned the Reichstag himself.... They blew up the World Trade Center, blamed it on us, and then come out with the PATRIOT Act and all these criminal laws. Right?”

At the same event, Musa said:

“Who ran the slave trade … who funded [it]? You’ll study and you will find out: the Jews … It was the Jewish bankers … in Vienna, with pockets full of money, funding and insuring, that’s who did it…. you can’t tell us about no holocaust. Between the African Americans and the Native Americans, everybody else’s stuff was [supposedly] small potatoes [according to Jews].”

Here is a bio for Amir Abdel Malik Ali:
Amir-Abdel Malik-Ali (also known as Abdul Malik Ali and Abd Al-Malik) is a black Imam associated with the Masjid Al Islam mosque in Oakland. A graduate of San Francisco State University and a former Nation of Islam member, he is a frequent guest lecturer at Muslim Student Union and Muslim Students Association events. A passionate supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah, he helped organize a July 1999 rally in San Francisco at which Imam Abdul-Alim Musa proudly displayed a cashier’s check made out to “Hamas, Palestine.” Malik-Ali endorses suicide bombings as a legitimate “resistance” tactic: “Palestinian mothers are supporting their children who are suicide bombers, saying, ‘Go honey, go!’ That ain’t suicide; that’s martyrdom.”
Also among Malik-Ali’s notable quotes and positions are the following:
  • “The enemies of Islam know that when we come back to power we’re gonna check ’em.”
  • “Stay conscious and ask Allah to raise the Muslims and give us victory over the disbeliever.”
  • “When it’s all over, the only one standing is gonna be us [Muslims].”
  • “Sooner or later, today’s Muslim students will be the parents of Muslim children. And they should be militants.”
  • “Neo-cons are all Zionist Jews.”
  • Israelis ought to return “to Germany, to Poland, to Russia. The Germans should hook y’all up. You [Israelis] should go back to Germany.”
  • “In America, you’re mostly fighting with your tongue, but you should also learn how to fight with the sword.”
  • At the Sixth Annual Muslim Student Association Conference held at UC Berkeley in February 2004, Malik-Ali denounced “the white man, who is the enemy.”
  • At the Universal Heritage Foundation’s December 2003 Islamic Conference in Florida, he warned moderate American Muslims that their desire to be “liked” was turning them into “‘house slaves’ in the mansion of a racist, imperialistic and destructive America.”
  • He has described Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as a “pretty good guy.”
DiscovertheNetworks.org notes the following about As Sabiqun:
Founded in the early 1990s by Imam Abdul Alim Musa, As-Sabiqun (whose name means “The Vanguard” in Arabic) is a Sunni endeavor that seeks, through “an organized Islamic movement,” to establish Islam “as a complete way of life in America” -- “in total, complete, and uncompromised service of Allah.”

On July 4, 1994, As-Sabiqun enumerated its major organizational objectives in a document that stated, most notably:
  • "We resolve to work with other communities (movements) … toward the end of harnessing the power of Muslims and their resources for the purpose of reestablishing the system of governance known as Khilafah, or the Caliphate, patterned after the leadership exemplified by Prophet Muhammad."
  • "We resolve to utilize all the tools of Islam to develop an analysis and plan of action to totally and completely obliterate the hold of jahiliyyah [spiritual ignorance] and enable Islam to take complete control of our lives, and ultimately, the lives of all human beings on Earth."
  • "We resolve to shape the ideas, beliefs, and moral viewpoints of the people into an Islamic mold. Toward this end we will … develop the comprehensive educational system that is necessary to inform, inspire, and direct the society toward Islamic revolution (or evolution)."
  • "We resolve to make Islam a living force by challenging and breaking the hold of social and political forces seeking to suppress and destroy Islam."

Believing that “Islam is fully capable of producing a working and just social, political, economic order,” As-Sabiqun “does not advocate participation in the American political process as an ideal method for advancing Islamic issues in the U.S.” Instead, it calls for “a strong and active outreach to the people of the U.S.” -- an effort aimed at persuading Americans to embrace Islamic beliefs, customs, and institutions. The movement endorses “cooperation on domestic social issues with like-minded non-Muslim groups,” but only “as long as Islamic ethics and morality are not compromised.”

As-Sabiqun’s major ideological influences include the writings and crusades of Malcolm X, Maulana Mawdudi, Shaikh ‘Uthman dan Fodio, Sayyid Qutb, Kalim Siddiqui, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, and Muslim Brotherhood founder Hasan al-Banna.

Though As-Sabiqun is a Sunni entity, it has publicly voiced support for such Shi’a movements and organizations as the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran and the Lebanon-based terrorist group Hezbollah. According to Abdul Alim Musa, Muslims today ought not engage in the "counter-productive" habit of focusing on the differences between Sunni and Shi’a Islam; rather, they should aim to unite in their struggle against non-Muslims.

"I have never seen the slightest evidence of anti-Semitism on campus ... [BUT] ... some speeches on campus ... crossed over into anti-Semitic speech"

The new UC Irvine Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky in an interview with the OC Register says that he's "never seen the slightest evidence of antisemitism on campus":
Q. Some Jewish people have described UCI as "the most anti-Semitic campus in America." You are Jewish. What do you think about that?

A. This is something I looked at very closely. I think it's a misapprehension. There was a letter written by students at several Jewish organizations on campus talking about the wonderful Jewish student life here. As a Jew, I have never seen the slightest evidence of anti-Semitism on campus.

There have been some speeches on campus against Israel that crossed over into anti-Semitic speech. But a university has to be a forum for all ideas, even if we don't agree with them.
What is particularly interesting about the Q/A is that the new dean says "some speeches...crossed over into anti-Semitic speech." And yet he has "never seen the slightest evidence of anti-Semitism on campus"? That's quite a contradiction.

Chemerinksy mentions that five students talked about how great Jewish life was on campus in a Hillel press release. In this letter the students said they felt Jewish life was thriving, but they themselves acknowledged that blatant antisemitism still exists at UCI. Perhaps Chemerinksy is unaware or didn't care enough to read a letter in response that was written and signed by 20 students who are deeply troubled by the anti-Semitism and Israel bashing on campus, and the inaction on the part of administrators.

When administrators and faculty at UCI are asked about antisemitism, they should just start telling the truth. Yes, there is pervasive antisemitism on campus. Administrators should acknowledge that they don't care if members of the Muslim Student Union (MSU) harass Jews/Israelis and their supporters. And the administration should be upfront about that fact that they will not do anything about it.
