There is no honor in so-called "honor" crimes. Yet women, and sometimes gays, are the victims of such crimes in much of the Islamic world. This murder is committed to restore the social and political standing of a family or community when it is believed that the victim has violated traditional behavioral expectations. An honor killing can also be based on hearsay or gossip that is perceived as damaging to a woman’s relatives.
This month a 30 year old Jordanian woman and mother of six was brutally murdered by her brothers in an honor crime. The victim’s brothers, aged 19 and 22, stabbed the woman in her father’s home over the weekend. The woman was stabbed over twenty times in the chest and stomach.
After murdering their sister, the two men went to the nearest police station and turned themselves in. They claim to have killed their sister to cleanse their family's honor due to her apparent desire to be independent.
The woman was the 10th victim of a so-called honor killing in Jordan this year-- and the second this month. Perpetrators of these crimes in Jordan often receive very light or no sentence for their crime.

Muslims Against Sharia is a fraud and Khalim is not a peaceful man. Just look at his hate filled comments at the end of this article.
He has recently been exposed on several sites and all one has to do is read his comments here to see his true hateful nature. Why don't you ask him for evidence of him speaking at Moques or universities? Ask him what Mosques in America support him? There is no movement.

I've got to respectfully disagree. I've corresponded with Khalim and I know several of the advocates who have helped with the "STOP HONORCIDE" campaign. I feel that the work Khalim and his allies are doing empowers Muslim moderates to stand up. It is more valuable than mere condemnation of all Muslims because it encourages concerned Muslims to take a stand and to be proactive.

Logan claims that Islam is not a religion and that Christians consider the Bible mans' words as opposed to Muslims who consider the Koran God's word. After that he acts genuinely surprised when his intelligence being questioned by Khalim Massoud. Due to Logan's inability to distinguish between hate and despise, he concludes that Massoud is not a peaceful man.
